Baby John Release: Vijay BREAKS Silence on Varun Dhawan's Theri Remake, Sends Heartfelt Wishes to Atlee
Thalapathy Vijay responded to the release of Baby John, the Varun Dhawan starrer, which is a remake of Vijay's own film, Theri.

The much-awaited Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, releases today, December 25. The film is a remake of the 2016 Tamil hit Theri, which featured Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. Directed by Atlee, Theri was Atlee’s second film, and he is also presenting Baby John, which is helmed by Kalees.
On the eve of Baby John's release, Vijay took to X (formerly Twitter) to send his best wishes to Atlee and the cast, hoping the film becomes a box-office success. He wrote:

Atlee was deeply touched by the gesture, responding with gratitude: “Love you na. Thank you soooo much. It means a lot to us ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Varun Dhawan also thanked Vijay, saying, “Thank you Thalapathy Vijay sir 🙏. We will always remain babies near you ❤️ #babyjohn.” Keerthy Suresh also expressed her gratitude, writing: “Sirrrr!! Coming from you means a lot!! Thankkk youuu so much for your wishes! ☺️🙏🏼.”
Directed by Kalees, Baby John features eight international action directors who choreographed the film's intense action sequences. These directors, including Anl Arasu, Stunt Silva, Anbariv, Yannick Ben, Sunil Rodrigues, Kaloyan Vodenicharov, Manohar Verma, and Bronwin October, have crafted eight massive action scenes that promise to thrill audiences.
Baby John stars Varun Dhawan, national award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. The film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande.
